About Mark Gooden

Let me introduce myself. As founder and principal of Gooden Law I practice law helping individuals with their legal needs. My name is Mark William Gooden. We will bring the finest of teams to your benefit as needed to help you. We help people. Sometimes this relationship has commenced from employment or family issues. Other client relationships have stemmed from criminal law – the relationship of the person with “the people”. In conflict between persons we prefer alternative dispute resolution (ADR) where communication leads parties to negotiated settlements. Gooden Law practice areas are adoption, bankruptcy, civil rights, dispute resolution, Elder Law, and family (LGBT Inclusive).

These areas of professional interest are reflected in my continued professional development and committee participation through the American Bar Association (ABA) americanbar.org; with the Oklahoma Bar and the Oklahoma County Bar Associations; and the State Bar of Texas.

I am licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma. In Houston, Texas, attorney Gooden practiced employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

All four of Mark William Gooden’s grandparents grew up in Oklahoma. Their families came, as early as such folks could enter Indian Territory, to establish farming and conduct commerce. American frontiersmen, Oklahoma and Texas people are self-reliant, are good to pay their way, and know the importance of helping the next guy.
